Panayiotis Stavrianos received unanimous approval from the Ballwin Board of Aldermen during their April 13 meeting to open Pana Coffee and Dessert Bar at 910 Kehrs Mill Road, Suite 102. The establishment will feature outdoor seating and is located in the same C-1 Commercial District as The Barn at Lucerne.
Ward 1 Alderman Janet Rodriguez Judd asked whether Pana would have visible signage facing Kehrs Mill Road as well as in the opposite direction. Stavrianos confirmed that signage in both directions had been approved following the Planning & Zoning meeting held on April 6.
The special use exception granted by the board includes the condition that “All sign illumination and other lighting is selected and arranged so as not to cast light upon, and/or be a nuisance, to any right-of-way or any other property.”
Pana will operate on the following schedule: Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The Stavrianos family brings extensive restaurant experience to the St. Louis area. They previously operated The Majestic, a Central West End establishment that operated for more than 53 years before closing in 2014.
