The Missouri Department of Transportation invites the public to an open house meeting regarding Interstate 44 improvements. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 12 from 4-6 p.m. at The Timbers of Eureka Recreation Center, located at 1 Coffey Park Lane on the second floor.

The meeting will showcase comprehensive 2027 improvement plans for I-44 between Hwy. 109 and Hwy. 141. Key projects include pavement repairs and resurfacing work spanning from Eureka to Valley Park, bridge repairs at multiple locations along the corridor, replacement of I-44 bridges over Williams Creek, culvert improvements in that area, median barrier reconstruction, and enhanced safety measures at Antire Hill.

Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their concerns with project engineers, provide feedback, and ask questions directly. A survey will also be available for those who wish to submit comments in writing. The meeting will be informal with no scheduled presentations.
