At the April 13 Creve Coeur council meeting, Bommarito Construction received approval to undertake the 2026 Concrete Pavement Replacement Project.
The company has previously completed several municipal projects for the city, including work on Craig Road, Office Parkway, Old Ballas Road, and Olde Cabin Road.
The 2026 Concrete Pavement Replacement Project will primarily focus on concrete streets and sidewalks in two areas: Ambois Drive/Rue de Fleur Drive and Decker Lane. On Ambois Drive, approximately 60% of the existing sidewalk network, along with some driveway aprons, will be replaced. According to a staff report, the sidewalk work will account for roughly 25% of this year’s total concrete program budget.
Street improvements are also planned for Allegro Lake Estates, Coeur de Royale, Mariners Point, Mosley Hill, Nimes, Plantation, and Tarrytown Drives. The project scope additionally includes the installation of curb ramps at various locations throughout the city.
Bommarito Construction, based in Fenton, was selected from four competitive bids at a contract price not to exceed $648,482.45. Construction is expected to commence in May, with an estimated completion timeline of three to six months.
