On Saturday, April 12, Wildwood held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of its new Village Green.
“This is truly a special day,” Mayor Joe Garritano remarked during the celebration.
Located in Town Center, the Village Green serves as a civic gathering space while maintaining the area’s existing tree canopy. The park will house the historic Essen Log Cabin and will eventually feature an inclusive playground developed in collaboration with Unlimited Play as the project progresses.

According to Garritano, “The vision has been carefully designed with community input. Residents have been actively involved in shaping this project since its inception in 2012.”
